The Thorn in My Side...Trying to Breathe

So when pondering my next blog, I came back to my issue I've been struggling with the last three weeks, a seemingly simple task called breathing. I have asthma and it has proceded to freak out on me the last three weeks keeping me from things i love like outside, riding my bike, exercising of any kind, etc. I have to be honest that I haven't been thankful for this weakness at all recently but almost anxious to get back to my normal routine in life. However over the last 24 hours, the Lord in his grace brought me back to the passage in 2 Cor. 12 where Paul discusses the thorn in his side he asked the Lord to take from him three times. God's reply however was My strength is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in your weakness. In his affliction he found joy in Christ, as is my aim. More on this later...

Kimboly Simmons! Or so it says in my phone...

Yes folks, it has really happened. Kimberly (the eldest of the Nall girls) is engaged to Mr. Grant Simmons as of yesterday, November 12, 2005! The oldest of three boys and the oldest of three girls. This should be a very entertaining wedding! Chaney and I went home to surprise her for this occasion. Her ring is almost identical to my grandma's which is really cool. I don't think I've ever seen my sister so excited in my entire life. When they walked into the house, Chaney and I were hiding on top of the washer and dryer with the doors closed so she couldn't see us and Dad skillfully opened the doors to "get food out for Sam (our dog)". Kimberly was slightly freaking out when she saw us. It was so fun! Way too short of a roadtrip but we've added to the number of boys in our family! Not quite yet I know, but Dad is ecstatic about some male company. And so goes life in the Nall household...now I'm off to write a paper for 19th Century British History. Good times. To end on a happy note, Nate Russell wrote me an email from India today! It made me happy.
